My innard are infected

I dunno if I mentioned it but I've been sick since Friday.  Not good since it means I don't get paid.  Also not good because I've been in a fuckload of pain when I'm not on painkillers. 

Imagine if you ran a marathon, right now not after doing a heap of training for it, and, while you were running, some bastard followed you and beat you with a stick for the entire 42 km.  That's how I've felt the past few mornings when I wake up.  I rarely take painkillers but everyone has their limits.

I thought it was a bad flu but I went to the doctor today and apparently I have an innard infection.  I've had tests to find out exactly which innard it is and will find out tomorrow.

It all took not much time at all except for radiology to get a chest x-ray to rule out pneumonia.  Which was stupid anyway because it's obviously not pneumonia because surely I'd notice.  Also the pain is all in my lower body.  

The good news is I've had an exploded freckle on my arm (well that's what it looks like) that I've been meaning to get checked out.  She said it just needs to be frozen off - no possiblity of melonoma.

The other news is that - damn it, I have to miss the team building day tomorrow.  Good for me but not so good for lollerific stories.
